All schools in Queensland teach a second language other than English (LOTE).

Students at Indooroopilly State School learn Mandarin Chinese from Year 6onwards. Two 45 minute lessons are timetabled each week.

Our LOTE curriculum includes culture studies as well as practical speaking activities.
